IMSAP

Illinois Masonic Student Assistance Program

Formed as a charity of Illinois Freemasonry, the Illinois Masonic Student Assistance Program (IMSAP) is dedicated to a school-based early intervention approach to identify and assist at risk students. We offer:

• Professional Development
  By partnering with schools, we train and support teachers and educators to recognize at-risk youth, prevent both bullying, and alcohol, drug, and controlled substance abuse.
  

• Financial Literacy
  We have partnered with educators to offer a financial education platform that allows them to teach real-world finance and practical life skills in the classroom.
  

• Drug and Alcohol Prevention
  Addiction is not a private problem. It is an issue that affects families and communities throughout Illinois. That’s why we offer programming available to schools and communities that will give those in attendance the tools to identify and help those in need.
  

• Academic Bowl
  This annual scholastic tournament is a quiz-based competition between Illinois High School scholastic bowl teams. Sponsored by the Freemasons of Illinois, it aims to provide positive recognition for academic excellence.
  

• Illinois Masonic Family Identification Program
  Through the Illinois Masonic Family Identification Program, the Freemasons of Illinois hold and fund identification workshops for families all around the state to help them find and prevent victims of abduction.

Our Mission is to SAVE LIVES by partnering with schools and providing training and support to teachers and educators to prevent bullying, drug and alcohol abuse amongst children and young adults.

Our Vision is to grow this successful program and to continue to change the narrative of students who are at-risk of compromising their futures.
